Beauford Engineers achieves Standard ISO 3834-2 and exhibits at the Offshore Europe 2011
Beauford Engineers is pleased to announce that the Company has passed the audit and is awaiting final accreditation to ISO 3834-2; Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials - Part 2: Comprehensive quality requirements.
Prepared such that it is independent of the type of welded construction to be manufactured, ISO 3834-2 defines quality requirements for welding both in workshops and on site, and as such it provides guidance for describing the Company’s capability to produce welded constructions to meet specified requirements.
The new certification complements Beaufords existing ISO 9001 Quality Management System, and ISO 14001 Environmental Policy. Divisional Manager, Kevin Sykes commented, “All our certification is focused on providing continuous improvements in the products and services that we supply.”
The Company will also be exhibiting at the Offshore Europe 2011 Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition, which will be held in Aberdeen from 6th - 8th September. The Beauford stand is located in Hall 3, Stand 3E195. Specialist engineers will be on hand to discuss any technical issues or queries.
