Ibstock Brick Limited, the UK’s leading manufacturer of high quality clay facing bricks, has recently purchased two Craven Fawcett Box feeders. Impressed with the design and performance of the machinery, the Box Feeders will be installed at the Ibstock South Holmwood factory, as a cost effective and efficient method of increasing production.

Purpose built to suit Ibstock Bricks exact requirements; one Box Feeder will use a self-contained Pickershaft unit to reduce surges of feed. This is particularly suitable for handling sticky materials. The picker blades are adjustable in the shaft and several designs of blade are available to suit the application. The second Box Feeder will utilise a heavy duty free hanging Chain Curtain fitted to the mouth of the feeder. This helps to even out the feed when dealing with large pieces of material.

Purchased to keep pace with rising sales and market share, Ibstock Brick offers an unrivalled choice of almost 400 products from both fully automated factories through to traditional hand-made and clamp fired sites. Ibstock machinery is serviced by the Craven Fawcett service team on a regular basis. Service engineers liase with individual factory teams to discuss current and future requirements to ensure continuity of supply. The Sales and Service engineers are also available 24 hours-a-day providing customers with unrivalled support in times of need.
